Honda CRX

Introduction

The first Honda CRX's were launched in Japan, they were marketed as economy sport hatchbacks. The fuel consumption figures were amazing, mostly due to the low cerb weight (777kg - 897kg depending the model). 5.7 l/100 km / 49 mpg in city use, and 4.7 l/100 km / 60 mpg in highway use. The coupe came with either 2 or 2+2 seats. The sculpted seats are very comfortable for 2 passengers. The CRX is well known for turning heads on the streets, impress ladies and beating cars with much larger engines at the red lights. The chassis is still not dated even after 27 years of the start of production. The light body makes it a perfect partner for chasing turns.

Driving & Performance

The 1.6l VTEC came with 150 ponies and 106 lb ft (144 Nm) of torque. The combination of power and low weight was a killer. Literally as well. The Honda CRX is known to be one of the most fatal cars, as many young lads have underestimated the car's performance and overestimated their capabilities.
